I qualified as a physiotherapist from the Medical University of Silesia in Poland with a master's degree. Following this, I started work in a private clinic contracted with the National Health Care in which I gained experience in a broad range of areas of physiotherapy and also had the opportunity to continue my education specifically in the area of strength and conditioning preparation of athletes as a postgraduate study at the Physical Academy in Poland.
I have always been interested and into sport. I trained and competed in table tennis for ten years, which is why my master's research project was focused on injury prevention in sport.
My postgraduate studies and courses have allowed me to work in a leading physiotherapy clinic with polish elite junior and professional athletes (football, basketball, swimming, tennis players and gymnastics) – providing orthopaedic treatment and physical training before the athletes returned to full training and competition.
I now specialise in musculoskeletal disorders and sport injuries rehabilitation.
I enjoy treating using techniques involving the soft tissues of the body and manual therapy techniques including modern neurological approaches.
Away from work, I enjoy spending any spare time outdoors particularly Mountain based activities like hiking, mountain biking, trekking and rock climbing which are my favourites. Having moved to Somerset I have many routes to explore! I'm also keen on reading and cooking.
